A Beautiful Day on the Pier
Today was just one if those days, so sunny with a nice cool breeze, I loved every minute of, I was with my grandad today and we took advantage and went for a nice stroll, thank goodness I had my camera, I managed to get some really great shots. We went to the pier right here in bay ridge, as many of you guys know, I am a Brooklyn girl. It was so nice because right smack in the middle where we are standing, was the best view ever.
This is really the first thing you notice, a tribute to those for September 11, 2001.
and walking down more you look over to your left and a wonderful view of the Verrazano bridge, awesomeness.
Same view and caught a fisherman also, Hi there!
And over to your left, you can see the statue of liberty, isn't that awesome?! Its a bit far but thanks to the zoom on my camera i think i got a clear shot.
and over there is a little bit of Manhattan.
We spent hours just strolling along, watching the fisherman, i didn't want to take their pics, lol. But we had a great time, not bad for a Wednesday afternoon. These pics would make a great novelty t-shirts don't you think?

That is VERY cool. When I go out I see the same junk...the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, etc. LOL! I'd love to see something new. ;o)

That is so awesome! I have been to NY City 2 times once in 2nd grade and once in 1998. I would love to go back to visit sometime. Those are some great pics! I live 2 blocks from a lake and love to fish!
