GIVING A RIDE

Guest post written by my buddy Aldo Mays

I take my husband to work in the morning sometimes when he is running late. He has to be at work at six in the morning, that means that in order to park and get inside on time, he has to leave the house at five thirty. Usually, when I do take him to work, I expect to pick him up at about six thirty at the latest. I hate the days that I have to pick him up because it ends up being right in the middle of the time that I am usually trying to cook dinner. Tonight I was really frustrated because I couldn’t get in touch with him by seven o’clock and I needed to get dinner started. Anxiously pacing around the house I got a text from him and found out that I wasn’t going to be able to pick him up until nine o’clock! I was really aggravated because it was starting to snow really hard outside and hadn’t stopped. I decided that I was going to sit, turn on Chagrin Falls DIRECTV and not cook dinner at all. I decided that when it was time for us to get out that I was just going to pick something up!
